Hi everyone,
As you know,we have 4.4.3 Kitkat Unofficial but not official firmware von Sony.I decided to port Official Firmware von Sony.Since 3 months i have worked on it.I succeed at last porting of Rom to cm11 .You will really feel Xperia Z2 with this Rom.Dont forget that.When you use xperia Lockscreen with Z2 effect,you musst enable Xperia Live Wallpaper.It is too laggy,when you use Xperia live wallpaper.I recommend to use non Xperia Live Wallpaper

Dear Developers

I'm sure you already heard about the GPL around the forums. In case you did not, the GPL ("GNU General Public License") is the most common license that affects many projects, like the Linux Kernel (the Linux Kernel is licensed under the GPLv2). This affects us, XDA and its members, as we are often working with the Linux Kernel (every Android platform runs on top of the Linux Kernel).
You may ask yourself now "Well, that's nice, but how does this affect me and what does the GPL do?" The answer is pretty simple actually: The GPL guarantees users to examine, modify and share their and others code by enforcing open-sourceness. This means you are free to use any GPL'ed sourcecode for your project, but you must make your used code publically available again.

Now, as many advantages this has, it also means quite some work for us developers. All used sources must be completely public by the time the compiled binary (like a Kernel) goes online. Another requirement is, that the OP must include all information to compile the exact same binary as uploaded by the developer. This means you need to specify:

• The used toolchain including its version (linking to your toolchain source is always a good idea)
• The used defconfig
• The link to your sourcecode (including the used branch, tags,...)
• If used, also upload your scripts used for the compilation

If you upload a kernel, publish the source, but the source is not compilable, it means you are breaking the GPL as you did not release the used source. Breaking the GPL actually means breaking the law, which means the sanctions on XDA could possibly be the least of your problems...

@ROM devs, using a precompiled kernel
As you are not compiling the kernel yourself, you do not have to give the above information. However, you have to link to the source of your kernel binary (for example: link to the OP of the used kernel). If you use the stock kernel, you must state this. Linking to the stock sources is not a requirement, but it is not the worst idea.
Keep in mind; if the kernel used is not GPL compliant, your ROM is not GPL compliant either. This may cause your thread to be closed and/or further action on your account may be taken.

As you know,Some Sony devices dont have 4.4.4 official firmware of Sony.I have worked on this project since 5 month.I tought how can we use like offcial sony firmware to cm11.Ambor has helped me.He has ported Z2 framework,z2 style theme engine,themes.I am using his awesome works in my rom.Finally we succeed to port it to cm11.You will really feel Xperia Z2 with this Rom.Dont forget that.When you use xperia Lockscreen with Z2 effect,you musst enable Xperia Live Wallpaper.It is too laggy,when you use Xperia live wallpaper.I recommend to use non Xperia Live Wallpaper.

Dirty Unicorns (DU) is a custom ROM originally based off AOKP, but now based from OmniROM. DU brings you a great mix of stability and customization. The idea to start a ROM like this was purely out of boredom, but later turned into a form of an addiction, a good one. We began to have fun while still doing things the right way. By doing so, we received high praise from not only our users but by fellow developers of other ROMs that also enjoy seeing things done the right way. Hi, I recently downgraded from ICS back to GB on my ST25a. I was getting poor DL speeds via wifi but normal upload speeds. I am running stock sony rom ST25i_2.3.7_6.0.B.3.184_2.6.35.7+. The only one I could find was for a ST25i, but if you flash without baseband it's all good. I wanted root but found the only way for xperia u running GB was by flashing a pre rooted custom kernel. Which is ok but all of them messed up the wifi. After hours of scouring the net I found this http://forum.xda-developers.com/xper...b-ics-t2391208 It's basically a one click method and worked for me. I haven't tried it for ICS. Hope it helps someone.

~General Information~

Welcome to my first custom rom project. As I said before, I've decided to work on OmniROM to make it my daily rom. I'm also submitting fixes in omni gerrit and some have been successfully merged. This is mainly a personal project, but I'll post updates here so that you can try it out. So don't expect to get updates in every week ;)

~Installation~

OmniROM doesn't come with prebuilt root access. So you have to flash SuperSU from Chainfire. Also use PA Gapps from TKruzze. Links are given below. Download all including rom and follow the instructions.

• Copy SuperSU, Gapps and OmniROM zip to your SDCard
• Boot into recovery
• Wipe System, Data, Cache, Dalvik Cache
• Goto Mount and uncheck system
• Flash the OmniROM.zip
• Flash PA Gapps and SuperSU
• Reboot your device

First boot takes some minutes. Wait patiently.

~Recommendations~

• Use any third party launcher cause stock launcher sucks. (I'm using Nova)
• After booted, goto Settings->SuperSU. A popup will be displayed to install backup script, say yes. Then switch to settings tab of SuperSU, scroll down and check if "Install SuperSU backup script" has been grayed out. If not, select it to install the script again. This maybe required during opendelta updates, I'm still testing.
• Don't delete the omnirom zip file otherwise you've to download the whole rom again via opendelta. I'll try to provide updates by OD cause it'll be more efficient.

- Same bugs as other roms (a2dp, radio, omx, wifi direct). I'll try to fix as much as I can.

Hey Guys,

Welcome to my next project :D. At last, finally able to boot Android Lollipop in our little device. For now nothing works, but I'm sure we can make it stable at some point. Any help would be appreciated.

Note: Please don't say "This doesn't work or is it stable for daily use". It's just a preview release so that you can try out lollipop.

INSTALLATION

Hey guys!

Here I have made a 6.1.1.B.1.10 FTF with CWM installation files and a .100 kernel because the .10 kernel is slow.

This is for ST25i not ST25a.

I'm not sure whether I used the correct files for decrypting, so could someone please check or explain how to tell if the FTF has been made correctly? :confused:

Hey guys!

Here I have made a 6.1.1.B.1.10 FTF with CWM installation files and a .100 kernel because the .10 kernel is slow.

This is for ST25i not ST25a.

I'm not sure whether I used the correct files for decrypting, so could someone please check or explain how to tell if the FTF has been made correctly? I'm a bit of a noob :p :confused:
