Hello everybody. I have a hard time searching for the stock FTF's and kernels all over the place. So here is a list with stock FTF's and kernels and also ROM's which are complete packages (can be flashed over anything). It may be incomplete so I may have to update, but here it is. :D
None of these FTF's or ROM's are my work. I'm just making it easier to access them. I would be uploading a stock flashable zip shortly, but later. Tadaaa!!!!

[TUT] Create Your Own SONY XPERIA Firmware [With ScreenShots][Updated]

Why do you want to wait for ftf file in searching on xda. if have latest update notification in Sony PC Campanion.
In this tutorial i will guide you to create your own firmware using flashtool [With Pictures]


  1. Open Sony PC Campanion update window

  2. Just press Update and Start updating


  3. Finish downloading the update.



  4. Go to Go to C:\ProgramData\Sony Ericsson\Update Engine\db\13740270\blob_fs .You will find 3 file like file_[some number] ex : file_0123456.






  5. Copy those 3 files into desktop for your convience. Just for backup :D


  6. Open the flashtool. The click Tool -> Dencrypt files






  7. Open the source file location C:\ProgramData\Sony Ericsson\Update Engine\db\13740270\blob_fs then click ok






  8. Just enter select file in left then press -> . Click OK





  9. Enter Device,Version, Branding. Click ok





  10. Flashtool will start decrypting the file

  11. You will see firmware created in c:/flashtool/firmware

  12. That's All Folks

Hey everyone..
Finally i am done porting my first rom to our xperia u and am glad to share it with you all..even though i dont have a technical background yet i have successfully done this task because the xda team has done a great job making it easier for those who really want to learn..thats the power of open-source,once you are willing to give a whole hearted shot,you won't fail..anyone with a zeal to learn and a lots of patience can benefit from xda..http://forum.xda-developers.com/imag...ies/cowboy.gif

NEED
The need for this ROM arose from the need for lagless, upgraded and evolved stock based firmwares. I have included various modifications, tweaks and also some of my own special changes.

Installation Instructions
1. Tested Way
- Flash Munjeni's ICS Kernel and then reboot into recovery
- Wipe Data, Cache, Dalvik Cache, Battery Stats
- Format /system under mounts and storage (I did it, it may be optional for you)
- Flash NoSweat! v1
- Flash Munjeni's Kernel CWM ZIP again (IMPORTANT, takes only an extra second)
- Flash SU+Busybox ZIP for latest stuff
- Fix Permissions (Optional but recommended)
- Reboot and Enjoy

2. Untested Way (Should Work)
- Flash any C.10 Kernel of choice
- Do the appropriate wipes
- Flash ROM
- Flash SU+BusyBox ZIP for latest root
- Fix Permissions
- Reboot and Enjoy

3. Locked bootloader(UNTESTED)
- Install cwm for locked bootloader
- Do the wipes
- Flash Rom
- Fix permissions
- Flash SU+ busybox (UNTESTED)
- Reboot and enjoy

Notes
* to get starred features like OC use Munjeni's Kernel
- Do try AC!D Mod v7 optimized for Xperia it works perfectly for me :D
- I have detected no ROM Specific Bugs. WiFi tethering seems to work with Munjeni's Kernel. Please report if any ROM Specific Bugs detected.
Will try to solve them after exams next week :D
- Locked bootloader people, since they can't flash munjeni kernel, they will miss out on oc and governors.
But all other features should work.

How to set-up easily adb from a Windows PC (From XP To 8) !

REQUISITES :

The tool : Avaiable HERE ==> Downloads - Adb Driver Installer (9.0 MB!)

An Android Device

NOW INSTALL IT ! ;)

Open ADB Driver Installer

Connect the Device at PC...

Now you will have a look like this
Now click Driver Incorrectly

And after click Install...

Niw the tool will install correct Drivers... Wait a while like 1/2 Minuts

You will get a look like this when it finish
Finish...ADB Drivers Installed..;)

Now you can delete ADB Driver Installer and disconnect the device!!! :)
